Using Templates

Speed up form creation with NexusForm’s template library. Start with professionally designed templates and customize them for your needs.

  1. Open NexusForm from your Shopify Apps
  2. Click Templates in the navigation
  3. Browse the template library

Templates are organized by use case:

Forms for customer inquiries and communication:

  • General contact form
  • Customer support request
  • Quote request form
  • Appointment scheduling

Sign-up and registration forms:

  • Event registration
  • Membership signup
  • Account creation
  • Program enrollment

Feedback and research forms:

  • Customer satisfaction survey

  1. Click category tabs at the top
  2. View only templates in that category
  3. Or click “All” to see everything
  1. Hover over a template card
  2. Click Preview button
  3. See full template in preview modal
  4. View all fields and styling
  1. Find the template you want
  2. Click Use Template
  3. A new form is created with the template configuration
  4. You’re taken to the form builder to customize

When you use a template, your new form includes:

  • All template fields and structure
  • Field configurations and validation
  • Form settings and styling
  • Default labels and placeholders

After creating from a template:

  • Edit any field properties
  • Add or remove fields
  • Change colors and styling
  • Modify settings
  • Rename the form

  1. Select Template

    • Go to Templates
    • Filter to “Contact”
    • Preview “General Contact Form”
    • Click “Use Template”
  2. Review Fields

    • Name field - keep as is
    • Email field - keep as is
    • Subject dropdown - update options for your business
    • Message textarea - adjust placeholder
  3. Customize Styling

    • Change color scheme to match brand
    • Select rounded style for friendly feel
  4. Update Settings

    • Set success message
    • Configure email notifications
  5. Publish

    • Save the form
    • Click Publish
    • Add to your theme

Templates may be updated over time:

  • Using a template creates a copy
  • Your form won’t change if template updates
  • You can always create a new form from updated template
